Could he possibly be a Fire?

This is Buddy, who has got something going on,I just don't know what. I have to breed him out to prove him. Do you think he could be some type of fire, he was actually much lighter when he was younger. You could put him in a tank full of normals and just reach in and pick him out immediately. The other question I have is to prove him would I be better breeding him to a normal or to a pastel or some other morph.
