    I would moisten his tank evenly. If you have a screen top on his enclosure its going to be hard to maintain good levels of humidity, but if you can achieve this try for about 60% this has worked well for my snakes to shed properly. Doesnt sound like belly rot but keep a very close eye on him and check his beely regulary. A good indication that something else might be going on is if he all the sudden seems a little lethargic and rundown. Hope this helps ease the stress of you and your little buddy
