    Re: Brazilian Rainbow Boa Housing

I have a fairly minimalistic setup. AP cages T10. Nothing super special.

Here's how Dave Colling does it. I like his setup.

I saw that the other day and could not figure out for the life of me what it was.

How exactly does whatever that is work?

The PVC pipes connect the cages, so he can open up whoever he wants for breeding purposes. Kind of a neat setup. He's fairly active over on KS is you would like his explanation (beware, i stopped posting there because some of the others frustrated me). Basically it's a difficult solution to an easy problem. Although I'd be lying if I said I wasn't going to try it out myself at some point.

Those shallow fish bowls as water bowls, on top of humid hides.

oooh I get it now. Lol. For some reason I thought the top bowl connected to the tupperware thing some how.... and that just made no sense in my mind.

    Re: Brazilian Rainbow Boa Housing

I actually decided on getting a BRB instead of a Red Tail so in May I am going to pick one of these guys up. I have a 20 gallon. I was just gonna tin foil the top and have a HUGE water bowl. Anyone else have done it that way?

Sorry no recent photos but it's basically unchanged. The water bowl is in the middle, hides on opposite sides of the bowl, and the plant didn't want to stay put so they were relocated. Soo~ yeah

Hope this gives you ideas or helps.

what's KS? I'd like to check out some more pics of this setup. it a bit hard to tell what's going on inside because of the reflection.
