    need help

Right now PA is having some bad winter weather and our power keeps going off and on. A few houses in my neighborhood have lost total power I need a way to keep my BP warm without electricity in a worst case situation.

I'd use those heating packs like we use to ship. They can be purchased to last up to 72 hours.

two things, first it would take several of them simply to see you through a day..second I'm not sure they are designed to reach or maintain the kind of temps that the shipping packs do..

Yes I am right there with you on the heat packs.
They don't always last the full length and you have to watch they dont get to hot. But that would help ya a bit. keep them in a tight space and heat pack them. Note!!! Read the heat packs.. They hit 100 deg and you can cook your snakes so please make sure you keep on checking.

I hope the best for you and your snakes.
If all else fails body heat from you will help.

I have been watching the weather over there due to I have a baby to ship when ever it gets warm over there again.. some day..lol

The hand warmers are better than nothing. You can stick them under the tub or wrapped in a towel in the enclosure so they can't get into direct contact with it.

Do you have natural gas fireplace? if so that should not go out.. Your blower will not work but the fire will. Or just a normal fire place.. . Man oh Man I wish you luck..
