Re: Piercings
My oldest piercing is my eyebrow(started at 16g, stretched to 14, then went back down to 16 after a year) which I've had since 1999. Used to have my lobes stretched to 1/2", thinking of redoing them, also had my tongue done twice, labret stretched to 8g, septum @ 12g, 10g industrial.

It wasn't fun...
I wish I could have it done again but I work with birds and it was a constant battle to keep them from pulling on it. I can't have the back of my neck done either, for the same reason. The only other piercing I've ever wanted is a lip ring, but it's not allowed in my chosen profession. The Maddison was my dream piercing and I am so glad that I can say I did it, and wore the thing for almost a year before it finally had to come out.
(My friend wanted to practice henna on me; hence the snake thing)
Now I just have two badass scars there, and I make up all kinds of wild stories about how I got them when people ask me about it. It's totally worth it.
OOO I like that piercing lolz I dont know if I'll go after it though hehe

Re: Piercings
I had tongue for a long time, had to take it out for work. Had bellybutton...it got ripped out..never again. Had cartilage for only a few days before I had an MRI, for which I had to take it out, but it would not go back in afterward. So now I just have two regular piercings in my ears, and two tats.

Re: Piercings
I currently have 12g base lobes and 2 left cartilage 14g, and two secondary lobes at 14g. My goal is to get my base lobes to 4g. We'll see.
Total of 6 right now. I want some kind of industrial in my right ear, I just took my boyfriend to get one a few weeks ago and he loves it.

The WORST were the conch piercings. I have 3 of them. They hurt like crazy and the cartilidge takes forever to heal. And the way they sit means they are always "rocking" to a degree (against your skull - and having them on both sides means you need to sleep face down or face up *grin*), so they never feel like they heal. You take them out and they heal up within a short amount of time.
That being said... they are still my favorite permanent piercings of any part of the body (when done right) as it looks like there is a silver ball just floating in your inner ear.
My other top favs are nape and trachea... and uvula. Not sure uvula piercing is still happening, but there was a piercer in NJ that was perfecting it years back and it was all shades of interesting.
Now that I say all that, I recall REALLY wanting to get my chin pierced, but never going through with it... really hot piercing.
Bruce
I used to have my conchs' pierced. Those actually gave me tunnel vision and I love pain .
