If they were at my place you'd have TONS of pictures. But we're doing it at Trey's and this wasn't a really quick lock, he'd been with her for almost two weeks before he figured out what he was there for. So Trey probably didn't want to mess with them.

You say the male had been with the female for almost 2 weeks? Is that constantly with her? Or on some sort of rotation like the typical 3 in/3 out? Does leaving an inexperienced male in with a female for a longer period of time without separating tend to help him figure things out? Like maybe it gives him a chance to settle in and get less stressed?

Not sure if he was in constantly, you'd have to ask Trey. However the male is not inexperienced, he bred last year and sired 5 Black Pastels.
