A Burgandy is a dinker morph that a lot of people have been trying to prove out. I believe there may be ONE line that has proven, but I am not 100% sure on that.

I had a line I was working on.. It didn't prove.

My interpretation of the term Dinker is, any odd looking or oddly patterned snake { doesn't look like most other snakes of it's morph } that may or my not prove to be passed on genetically.

For example, there was an ad on Kingsnake for a couple of dinker spiders. They were definitely spiders, but just past the head, the pattern changed from spider to normal, they were really neat looking.

I myself have a dinker normal male, he's got really cool patterning, but he's my hubby's brat pet, so we won't be breeding him out.

Thanks Heather. I guess I will find out sooner or later if he is genetic or not.
