    Cinnamon mojaves in the making!

Caught this pair locked up this morning. I was hoping to breed this girl with my pinstripe, but he's not having anything to do with her or any other female. So I figured cinnamon mojaves will be pretty sweet - so I started pairing them together.

Awesome Matthew. I'm glad to see he started breeding for you so quickly.

Good luck with the cinnamon mojaves!

Is that the trade name for these guys? I'm the worst at keeping up with what combo is being called what.

Too bad your pin didn't want to do his job this year. I like jigsaws, and I'm sure you do too since you were wanting to make them.

The savannah is interesting though, and if you add pastel in to the mix it gets pretty eye-popping. Here are some links for anyone interested:
    savannah (cinnamon mojave):

2 different savannah pewters (cinnamon mojave pastel):

I am AMAZED at how yellow that last one is. Assuming both of the savannah pewters are correctly identified, it is just another example of how variable morphs can be, and the importance of selective breeding to get the desired look.
