My retic has absolutely no preference on when to eat. She will eat anything at anytime. Even my hand

lol no. My retic is a super dwarf but she is about 6ft now. Alot of retics, regardless of type, can be more flighty or nervous when they are younger or smaller. They can also have a strong feeding instinct or cage agression. Which isnt agression at all. Once those types are taken out of the enclosure they are generally big babies. Any big snake should just be handled regularly and calmly to help prevent this. The adults Ive been around seem to be more laid back then youngsters.
