Re: Piercings
I've currently got 1 1/4" lobes along with ~00g lobes that I'm not currently wearing anything in. I've also got a labret, snake bites, and bridge as far as facial piercings and belly button of course.
My lobes are currently going through a period of hell, it got super dry here lately with the colder weather and both of my lobes split along the inside since they were still a relatively fresh stretch, so even putting lots of vitamin e oil on before bed didn't keep them moist throughout the night. I'm on antibiotics now to try to bring down the swelling and heal up the splits, tons of pain though. Still worth it.
I didn't even feel my labret and actually stretched it from the original 16g up to 14g after 2 weeks of having it because I found a better selection of 14g bars for it. My snake bites were some of the worst when it came to healing, my whole bottom lip swelled up so huge I could barely talk, it was ridiculous. They finally healed up after a few weeks but still get a little irritated now and then and require extra sea salt cleaning.
I think I'm going to have to be done stretching my lobes though, I really don't think I have enough thickness left in them to safely stretch any further. I'm pretty happy with 1 1/4" though, although it's so hard to find plugs at that size that aren't ridiculously expensive. I've currently got in a pair of clear acrylics, but also have some wooden tear drop shaped plugs and another custom pair of a different wooden tear drop shape on the way.
And below are a couple pictures of them all. The top one shows the wooden tear drop plugs with a sea shell inlay, pretty sweet for only $25. Barebones organics has some nice plugs and bodyartforms.com has some of the best of all body jewelry, I order from them constantly.

Re: Piercings
You're in Richmond? Me too! Well, I live about an hour southeast, but right now I'm stuck at St. Mary's on bedrest until the morning.
I got my tongue pierced on my 18th birthday, so I've had it on for 6.5 years and still love it. I also have two piercings in my nape. Unfortunately I can't find any pictures of them on my computer right now.
When I'm done being pregnant I'm going to get some dermal anchoring done, but I haven't decided where. Probably either my sternum or wrists or clavicle. I'm pretty excited about them

Re: Piercings
I have both my ears pierced.
I got my left ear pierced at 14 g it didnt hurt at all really. I just recently got my right ear pierced at 12g I think there was a noticible difference pain wise. My ear was sore for like a week straight. Still healing its almost been two weeks...
and my ears are at different sizes... my left ear is 2g and my right ear is at 12 g now. My parents wouldnt let me get both when i got my ear pierced. Then i got the bigger gauges and they wanted me to get both. Should have just listened to me in the first place.... Now i walk around with a tunnel in one ear and a captive bead ring in the other. I want to get the middle of my bottom lip pierced when im 18. Im not sure what its called. Id also get an industrial.
Im probably going to go up to 0g or 00g im not sure which one yet. I cant find any good 00g tunnels that I like.
This is my signature
