And also the part about the federal government's biologists claiming the Burmese pythons are wreaking havoc on the ecology in the Everglades. Any professional biologist who fails to grasp how ecologically damaged the Everglades has been for the past few decades, and how minimalistic the affect is that Burmese pythons are adding to the picture, isn't worthy of their title. To suggest the species' removal would bring the Everglades anywhere remotely closer to a natural state is absurd. It would be a drop out of the pond.

Do I think the burms should be in the wild in south Florida? No. Would I be willing to help aid in their removal? Absolutely. What these so-called professionals are claiming though makes it blatantly obvious how little they know about what they are arguing for (or worse how little they care that they are lying in order to further their own careers and agendas at whatever cost there is for the thousands of Americans who keep these animals).
