    My Borneo

This is my male 08 Borneo D-Con. He was very mellow when he was young but as of late doesn't take to handling very well. He doesn't bite but hisses alot and struggles.

    Re: My Borneo

He COULD be wanting to breed, but he seems a bit young for that, maybe not.

    What are temps like?

    Welcome to the board!

    Thanks for the welcome.

Temps are 90 on warm side and 82 on cool side. Humidity is pretty steady at 60%.

Try getting that hot side down to around 86 or 87 and see if that helps calm him down.

I second what Trevor suggests, Bloods like it relatively cool compared to some other Python species.

I keep mine at an ambient of 80-84 with a Hot Spot of no higher than 86.

Nice looking boy,,I'm with Trevor and Dave, if thier too warm their attitude/personality changes..Too warm makes for stress..You'll likely get the quiet guy back when temps are lowered..
