red knee T rescue. if your willing please help me out
hello i recently took a 2 1/2 in. mexican red knee T off a neighbors hands cuz he didnt know how to take care of it. i know how to raise them in good health, but have never had to bring one back. i started with making sure her enclosure is perfect. (5 gallon tank, heat 75-80, bout 75 humidity, 2 inch of eco-earth, a good hide, and shallow water dish) she is active and has eaten, but is there any good tricks of the trade to help her get back to health more quickly? like how often should i feed her... also for example: i know with snakes covering their tank helps so they dont stress... anything like that would help thanks

It is hard to see from the pic but it does look to have a small abdomen and I can see the lack of hair there and on the legs. The lack of hair will fix itself with the next molt. Does she kick a lot and are you sure it is definately a female? Also, if she is eating good I would personally feed her twice a week until she get's her weight up and gets back on track

Her abdomen is small, you should fatten her up on some large crickets. I am currently trying to fatten my girl up (Rose Hair T, just got her) and she should be ok.
