    SuperPastel Lessor Project ?

New guy here with a question

I have a male SuperPastel Lessor and want to breed him with

Clown,Pin,Mojo,Bee and a Cinny and i was told it would be a waste of time because the Lessor gene would and nothing to these.

    Is this the case?

    Thanks!

the person who told you this does not have their facts straight at all :/

Super Pastel Lesser + clown = pastels, lesser pastels all 100% het clown! (take a look at the lesser clown, OMG PRETTY)

Super Pastel Lesser + pin = pastels, pastel pins, pastel lessers, pastel pin lessers

Super Pastel Lesser + mojo = pastels, pastel mojos, pastel lessers, pastel BELs

Super Pastel Lesser + Bee = pastels, super pastels, super pastel spiders (killer bee), pastel lesser, bees, pastel lesser bee, super pastel lesser bee (i may be missing some here)

Super Pastel Lesser + cinny = pastels, pastel lesser, , peweter

you can create an amazing number of combos with that male. lets see some pics

there may be a combo or two i left out, im listing these off the top of my head (no punnet squares this time) oh, and welcome to the site!

Looks like you did a good job, too bad it's a waste of time to breed a Super-Pastel-Lesser to any of these Just for the record another one is Super-Pastel x Cinny can also get you a Sterling, one of my personal favs

Invincible, all those pairings would make killer offspring. If the lesser gene was passed on to any offspring, it would show up visually.

Nope. These are both wrong. You can not get a super pastel, nor any combo that includes super pastel (sterling = super pastel + cinnamon) by breeding a super pastel lessor to any of the morphs listed above. None of those morphs include the pastel gene, and to get super pastel, the snake must get 1 pastel gene from each of its parents. The super pastel father can not pass super pastel to his offspring; just pastel.

A male pastel lesser 100% clown that could be bred back to the clown female in the first year to produce clowns, pastel clowns, lesser clowns, pastel lesser clowns and pastel, normal and lesser 100% het clowns is hardly a waste of time.

A pastel mojo x lesser BEL gives 4 possible morphs when bred to a normal female with a gaurantee of no normal offspring.

What do you consider a worthy breeding for a super pastel lesser?

    dr del
    Derek

7 adult Royals (2.5), 1.0 COS Pastel, 1.0 Enchi, 1.1 Lesser platty Royal python, 1.1 Black pastel Royal python, 0.1 Blue eyed leucistic ( Super lesser), 0.1 Piebald Royal python, 1.0 Sinaloan milk snake 1.0 crested gecko and 1 bad case of ETS. no wife, no surprise.

I guess they don't have sarcasm in Scotland... of course it's worthy of breeding to anything. That's why it's so funny to me.

Sorry forgot super itself can't be passed directly.
