I'm just so excited that he's taking interest. I tried doing it a couple of weeks ago and they just hung out. Put him in before I went to bed just for fun because I noticed him roaming around in his tub, and when I awoke....lockage!!
Almost all of my locks happen when i leave them in over night. At first the female shows no interest, then the next morning they are locked. And my 14 year old male will not eat a thing from mid to late November until mid to late March like clockwork, so don't be upset if yours doesn't want to feed.
