Its not going to increase your chance of eggs, thats all on the female. I've herd it increases your chance of getting fertalize eggs.... but I don't see how unless you got a male shooting blanks. I think it just complicates things. no harm in doing it tho. but atleast you don't have to play Jerry Springer and figure out who the daddy is.

advise I will give you tho, If your just getting into this, buy your female first, give them time to grow up. they can breed after 2 years with good solid eating, but your realistically looking at 3. males can breed in half a year so no rush getting him. plus by the time your females are ready you might be looking at some double or triple gene males by then.
