The thing with IJs are they got popular, everyone started producing them and lost a lot of value now...

As for the OP-you can get nice coastal jags for $350-400 shipped right now if you look in the right spot, or wait bc snakes will be hatching soon...I honestly think a jag is worth it, they are awesome.
Also my diamonds are really cool, pretty mellow (crazy feeding response) and stay pretty slender....Then again jungle/jags turn out beautiful, bill stegall has one for sale right now for $650 on kingsnake, looks great..Jungles are awesome, but if you want nice yellow you're going to pay, plus they can be very tricky sometimes getting to eat rats...Coastals and bredli (bredli more) are the most forgiving of the carpets...Diamonds need to be kept a few degrees cooler than the other carpets and hatchlings are going down a little more (u can find them for $500-600 in the right spot)...

Heres a couple pix for reference-

My 08 female coastal jag-I got her Dec of 2008, she was taking rat pinkies (no bigger), and as of today she is on small rats...I've never powerfed her or anything.

and heres my 2007 female diamond, around 6 feet long/2000 grams, eating large rats.
