    I'd say it's fine staying here as they are Boa constrictor imperator. The 'red tail' while technically only referring the Boa constrictor constrictor is a fairly loose connotation. I'd still call Bci's red tails.

    Care is pretty similar to any other Bci. Changes can be made on natural history, locality, personal preference etc. You should do some research first, try reading the book Boas in Captivity by Vin Russo or really any other decent book you can find on them.
