Re: what do you do for a living?

I am a full-time registered nurse, and my husband is a doctor. I also have a little home-based corn snake breeding business, which allows me to write off most of my snake-related costs as business expenses. So, finding enough time and space for all the snakes is actually more of a challenge for me than the financial aspects of the hobby.

I am a Park Ranger in a London Borough which sounds nice but in reality means the majority of the time i get used by whichever political body is in power at the time to further their agenda and spread their propaganda while at the same time being treated like the councils odd job man when really all i want to do is go and get on with some conservation work. Handing out leaflets! Pah! I spit on you conservatives! Your lies and propaganda breeds dissidents and an uprising will follow......

I jest of course, I am very happy in my job

very interesting jobs so far. i know i should hav searched...

my job pays well, but is very dangerous. for instance yesterday i worked from 6am to 11pm. the high for the day was around 13 or somthin. i was 110 foot in the air rebuilding a gearbox for a huge crane. insanely cold! not for the weak at heart thats for sure.

good news is i only work mon-thursday 6 to 4. so 16 hour day yesterday was OT
