    how to heat my tub

    hi i just ordered a pinstripe 09 male and i want to put this one in a tub. ive never used a tub so im stumped. Im wondering how to heat it do i use lights or uth ive gotten a plastic tub and i have aspen bedding the gauges and all but dont know what to do about the heat.please tell me what you use and how to use it on the plastic thanks.

    get a piece of flexwatt or use a uth but you have to use a thermostat to control them. Other wise youll have a burned snake and a melted tub.

    I agree. UTH's or flexwatt is the way to go. I would hate to think about trying to heat a tub with a lamp... messy.
    Definitely set the tub up a week or so before you get the snake so you can work with stabilizing the temps and humidity. Also make sure you have a way to keep the lid secure. I prefer luggage straps because they have a cleaner look, but you can also use bungee cords or binder clips...
