Re: wont eat
Give him some time to settle in.
Also, almost everything you just mentioned feeding him, is not good for him to eat.
Use superworms instead of mealworms, and Collard greens to start off with.
Can I ask how his tank is set up? Light brands? Substrates? Basking spot temp and what you use to measure that with?

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

Re: wont eat
Ok i was thinking that maybe he needed some time to settle in.he lays there in my bed with my girlfriend for 3 hrs at a time and he just sleeps the whole time but as soon as she puts him back he will wake up and as soon as she picks him up he is asleep again lol..and again with him not eating his poo was runny and green..I have never had a beardie b4 and am a little concerned.and i see the man that gave him to me did not have the correct lighting he just gave e a regular ol basking lamp and a regular house light bulb and from that i already knew that was the wrong lamps. In addition i have reptile carpet in at the moment and i do not know the brand of the lamps they were used when i got them.and i have a 40 gallon tank and i have a hide on each side and i keep the temp on the hot side at about 90-95 and the cool side is 75-80 and i have a hygrometer , 3 zoomed thermometers one on each side and one in the middle of the tank..but yea im a little concerned about its health i have repta-aid but have no clue on how to use it and i dont have the syringe,....HELP

Re: wont eat
Hey, congrats on the new beardie. I would give him a few days to 2 weeks to settle down. Sometimes relocation stress can do that. Being the winter season, he could have a slight brumation going on too which would slow down the eating. I would try doing some warm water baths for 15-20 minutes to rehydrate him. If you are really worried about the not eating, you could try some butternut squash baby food fed through a needless syringe. Mealworms aren't very good for beardies. You might want to try starting off with some crickets and maybe throwing in some superworms, hornworms, or silkworms depending on the age/size of the beardie. And keep some salads in his viv throughout the day. http://www.beautifuldragons.503xtrem...Nutrition.html has a great list of foods that are appropriate for beardies plus info on supplements. You definitely need to get a megaray or a reptisun 10.0 for him too. Otherwise he won't be able to properly digest or metabolize the needed nutrients. For great info on beardies, try http://www.beardeddragon.org/bjive/ Most of the people on there are great, lots of experts and breeders that can also help you with your set up if you need it. And yeah, they are cuddle monsters, so curling up with ur girlfriend is not surprising . Mine curls up on my chest with her face in my hair or balled up with my dog. Good luck with the little guy.
