Possible milksnake trade?
I was just offered 5 milksnakes in a trade (for electronic equipment), and debating over whether or not to do it... I've never had a milk, just corns & BPs so far, but I assume their husbandry is similar to a corn? My main issue is with housing them, since I'm already short on rack space with my current 14. I do have plenty of extra tubs and 2 strips of flexwatt, so I'm thinking I could just set them up on a spare shelf - my closet has three LARGE steps/shelves that would be perfect.
Do you think that would be acceptable, at least until I either sell them or get another rack? And do they even need all of that, for somebody who lives in a very mild climate? Two of my corns don't have any heat source, and their tubs maintain well in the mid-70s... somebody here actually suggested that setup, and so far so good. :ok: If I do decide to keep them permanently, I'd probably get a rack to house both them & my corns (and the hognose I'm getting soon). Are those three species compatible, in terms of their husbandry needs?
Finally, what do you think this group is worth? They're all proven breeder adults, and I do have pics available... they look pretty to me, but I don't know milks!
