How often do balls shed? ;-)

Ok I have had my female ball sookie for about one month
and the day I took her she just finished shedding. My question
is how often do they shed?
She has eaten regularly with no fuss 3 meals once week and
I knowthey shouldn't eat again till done shedding once it begins.
Now another question is is there a warning for the process beginning
so I know not to feed because shedding will begin shortly
or is the foggy grayish eyes the only thing to basically go off?

And how soon after shedding should I begin the feeding
again? To get back onto normal feed schedule.

depending on how much the snake is being fed pretty much determines how often it will shed. You can look for the blue\cloudy eyes,the belly will start to turn pinkish and her skin will become darker then normal. You can try and feed during shed but dont force it. Some of my girls will pound food even when in deep shed and some will not take a meal till they shed. You can feed them right after they shed.

There's no problem offering food during shed, some will eat and some won't.

As others have said, you can try feeding during a shed. I have one girl that won't even look at a rat during shed and another that can be deep in blue and still take a rat. It all depends on the individual snake. I have some that shed less often but the majority of them shed once every 1.5-2 months or so.

to add to the feeding while in shed. I just had a female who was in deep shed 6 days ago refuse her meal. She literally just shed and i offered her a f\t small rat and ate it like shes never eaten before lol. Some will eat in shed some wont. Just thought id share that.

it all differs on many different factors, for instance i feed my snakes once a week and they shed almost to the day once a month

Generally about every 7 weeks when theyre juveniles but once they become adults it slows down by a few weeks longer obviously because there growth rate has slowed.
