Only thing I can add is that when an egg is laid, an air bubble is inside it that forms at the top of the egg.

When you move them to your incubation container, it should be placed inside the same way.

That's why you see an X or a number written on eggs sometimes.

FWIW...eggs don't come with directions that tell you which end should be up and which end should be down, just so you know. Chances are, if you do perform a search on this forum, and cant find anything....its because it hasnt happened yet. Use the search function before asking questions....everyone benefits from that.
