    I have that same problem living in texas.

    Beautiful snake! I've always wanted one after reading an article in Reptiles and Amphibians magazine several years ago. However, I've just never come across one at pet stores or shows. Anyone know the legality/regulations of owning Indigos in California?

    There are a couple of great breeders here in California - no permit needed if you buy the animal within the state.

    She is very nice, I know they are said to have very good temperment.
