    Digital thermometer recommendation?

I still haven't gotten a digital thermometer as I don't know what kind to get. What brand do you all use that you find to be reliable? I've been looking at Zoo Med, Zilla, Exo Terra, Coralife... stuff like that. I was hoping I wouldn't have to buy a super expensive one.

Why not get an even more accurate instrument?

You also wouldn't have to leave some kind of probe in the enclosure as well

    An Infrared temp gun

Because I can't afford one. Maybe down the road, but with just two snakes (that I don't even have) I think that a temp gun might be a bit overkill.

i think i paid less than 17 for my heat gun shipped, got mine on ebay.

Accurite thermometer/hydrometer combo is a great one. Many people here use them. You can find them at lowes/home depot/walmart for 14

Really? I'll have to look for one on ebay then. The ones I saw were $100.

Here you go, well worth the $50. They have the mt4 also which is $10 cheaper.

How about this one? Or is the Raytek MT6 better?

What makes the MT6 so much better than the MT4?

How often do you guys check the temp with these things? Daily? More?
