    Health problems.

Ok so i got a BCI at the pasadena expo a few months ago and had problems with him eating almost instantly. He was the snake that gurged an undigested rat pup after 9 days if some of you remember. Well he went through his 3 week no eating, then got a nice size pinky every other week for amonth and had mo problems what so ever with him. Went to give him a small rat pink, which would be his first "large" meal since the gurge and he refused, but instead of hiding, or pretending to strike, he crawled up my hand and into my sleeve, which is what he normal does when i open his tub. So i put the rat down and went to the bathroom to wash my hand of rat smell and started working him out of my shirt and see what was up. When i fed him the pinkies he showed interest and struck almost instantly had a nice coil or two and chowed down.

when i look at his head he had bubbles around his tongue hole and it almost looked like one side of his jaw was slightly open. I pulled him out of my tub stack and moved him into my extra room to get him away from everyone else. He was in a stack of 7 tubs ranging from BPs/Morelia/Corn/King and i just dont need any of them getting sick too.

He isnt breathing heavy or wheezing at all, he acts like normal. I bumped up his heat from 88 to around 94 i believe as he is off the thermostat and onto a rheostat so i spent all day/night monitoring temps and humidity (which is holding at 50%). School starts tomorrow and im literally at school from 9am till 7pm so the soonest i can get him into the vet is thursday afternoon. Should i be too concerned or what should my plan of attack be?

This boa has been nothing but problems, but he is such a lover and really tuggin on my heart strings and i just really really dont want to lose him

Sounds like you really need to bring him to a vet.

One side of his jaw was open? When they're eating they sometimes get their jaw out of place and it sits weird until they yawn and relocate it. Was this the case or is it always partially open?

one side oh his jaw was slightly open, and that has never been the case... you can kind of see into his mouth but not really. He has started to be lathargic, at least was last night/this morning when i checked on him. I have an apt for tomorrow at 2pm which is the soonest i could get him because of my school schedule, i just hope he makes it that long

Thor didnt make it through the night guys

he aparently had a severe RI and by the time he got baytril, fluids and vitamins it was too late. He went from perfectly healthy to dead in less than 4 days so im thinking there is more too it than just an RI. He is the first snake i lost and its real sad

RIP little guy, im sorry you lost your fight
