S373 issue
So my friend's and people in Florida are telling me all the invasive species have been dying and my thought is about to issues this covers and proves no need for S373. One there pretty much done for from the cold weather most have been eliminated if not all, and if there is global warming why is florida having ice storms? 2 birds killed with one stone lol

The fact that the temps did drop alot could have killed alot of the burms in the everglades. But there is a HUGE misconception on global warming. Its not actually global warming. Its climate change. People think global warming will cause the earth to just heat up, but in reality it will just make the seasons and climates more extreme. Winters will become more and more harsh and summers equally as harsh. We'll have record cold temps and record hot temps. So dont just think global warming is warming up the earth. And it not even close to significant enough to stop cold snaps anywhere.

Re: S373 issue
I haven't seen any proof of the invasive species dying. Is there a set of pictures of dead burms in the everglades? Even good reliable reports? It'd be nice to point at some.

It doesn't matter how cold it got. Even if every renegade python in Florida died, you can be rest assured that neither Sen Nelson nor HSUS will let S373 drop. There is too much money riding on it and they are in it for the long haul, so we must be as well...

at the same time there is not much proof that they are actually invasive.
there is no set pics of them actually thriving. there is no good reliable reports of actual survival.
in the end they dont need to show any of those when you pay crooked politicians
sorry wolfy but thats the true picture

http://finance.yahoo.com/banking-bud...trading-system
So I pre-pose we ban global trading if a few snakes makes them wanna ban are hobby look what global trading is costing us citizens but you won't see this as a ban or bill issue or will you now I pre-pose we all write to our senators and say if you wanna ban pythons for being invasive we want you to ban global trading to protect our trees.

Re: S373 issue
And I ask people for proof of them being invastive, the same way I'm asking if there's proof of them dying from the cold.
So? If there's all these people in florida saying it, there must be some first hand reports or pictures of dead animals. Who is saying it? Where are they seeing the dead invasives?
I don't think the bills are fair or needed in the least, and I don't think there's the hundred thousand burms in the Everglades, but when someone starts to say things like this, I'd just like to see the proof on it too.

I just have to laugh anymore with all these bills when I am doing work and research as a biology student and majoring in marine biology and minor in herpetology I hear all these bills and global warming things and wonder are people really that dumb and easily manipulated and the said part is Yes they are 60% of the population if not more don't look at real results they go by the news is it fair to us as hobbyist, scientist, etc...? I just feel people need to research before they vote, or attack this group or another and not be persuaded by there news channel.

Re: S373 issue
I think 60% is being REALLY generous.. I see more like 80% of the people being sheep, whatever they were told by the tv must be true.. despite hard evidence shown to them in person.
Ahh well. Stupid people are inheriting the earth.

Well someones statement answered your question on global warming and you just ignore it? Even before the term climate change came about part of the major theory ( which it is, a very supported theory) is that temperaturtes would change all over the world, just enough to throw the seasons off. A small change in temp is all it takes for the world to change. The reason it is called global warming is becuse it is believed that the worlds core temp is changeing, even a change of 1-5 degrees could be disasterous. Like the lack of periods in your comments...coming from a college student? hows writing class going for you btw?
I do agree about the sheep theory, however I feel more and more people are stepping away from the "shepards" and becoming independent free thinkers.
