Silkworms hmmm?
What were they like? The things I would have trouble with are spiders, scorpions, roaches, earthworms, and strangely enough squid or octopus. I just can't get past the tentacles.
I really don't see myself having a problem eating a rat, I've had squirrel and rabbit, venison, turtle, and frog. I even ate a raw fish when I was three. Fins, guts, scales and all.
If you have any culinary skill at all, you can make most anything taste good. Either that or season it so much you can't taste it. Emeril Lagasse used to say about certain sauces and so forth, " You could put that on a truck bumper and it would taste good." Same principal.
