    Adobe CS4??

I was looking into getting Adobe CS4 Master Collection OR Adobe CS4 Design Premium. I've been messing around with FrontPage and like so far but I know Dreamweaver is the king of webdesign! Here's my question. Do I need the extra software that Master Collection has? If anybody knows where I can find a great deal on either one you can PM me as well. Also if there is any info you can give would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!
    Louie

It depends on what you do.

If you do Websites only, then you would need just the Design package. Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator (sometimes Flash) are all I use in design.

the Master collection has Video editing (Premiere) and motion graphics (After Effects) tools which are fun to play with, but you have to think, would you really use them? Probably not. If you think you might, then download the 30 day trials on their site and play with them before you commit the extra money towards it.

Keep in mind also that CS5 is due to be released sometime this year, I think.

They also sell a web premium CS package. I have the student / teacher package; Save a good coin.

What would be the difference of that to the design premium?

Just take a quick look at the Adobe website. All the different packages are listed. The web package and the design packages only differ slightly. It looks like the design package comes with Indesign where the web doesn't.

So what's the difference between the student version and full version?
