    Breeding season so far.

I was just wondering how everyones breeding season is going? So far mine is going great all of the females that are ready have bred. I'm just hoping they all take and we get everything we are hoping for.

    Re: Breeding season so far.

Have one female that has been pairing up. She's in shed right now but its not her pre-lay shed. Have two other girls that need to put on some weight before I start pairing them up. One is sitting at about 1350g (empty) and the other is sitting at about 1100g. Everyone is getting fed today, so hopefully I can start pairing soon.
    Under Construction.....

Ours is going great!! Couldnt be better! We allready have 30 females with big follicles! Which is about half of our females! With the majority being morphs! (40 morphs, 20 normals over all) Most of our males are breeding, we still have a bunch of young males to get going but were not worried yet. Hope everyones season is going good!

    Re: Breeding season so far.

Paired my dinker male with my normal female. I've only witnessed two lockups so far, but I've caught her lying inverted quite a bit this week, so hopefully that's a good sign. This is my first season, so we'll see what happens!

    Re: Breeding season so far.

Failing miserably. I bought a house in November so I wasnt cooling or preparing in October, started cooling in December. Only one project is currently a sure thing as the female is gravid.

    Observed locks:

    PH Pied x 100%Het Pied
    PH Pied x Lesser
    Mojo X Normal, Gravid
    Pied X 100% Het Pied

    Planned projects:
    Pied X PH pied
    Pied x Het Pied
    Pied x Het pied
    Spider x Lesser
    Bino X Het Bino
    Lesser X Reduced Pattern Normal
    Mojo X Normal

Sooooo....only 3/6. The lesser X PH pied was a random lock up, I put him in there for a moment while I was cleaning his tub and came to find him locked up. Seeing as I already have two het pied X pied projects planned I figure the Ph PiedxLesser isnt a total loss. Id rather he locked up with the RP Normal though.
