My Dumeril's boa was a pain in the ass when I first got her. She didn't eat for 2 months, then she ate live until 5 months later until she took her first F/T, then she started to refuse randomly when I offered it. She would hiss and strike if I really got her pissed. So, Dumeril's boas, IMO, can have an attitude. They are generally very docile, but just a mess to try to get to eat. Your Dumeril's sounds stressed out, and it could be due to husbandry issues. I would like to see pics if you can put some up, but if not I would like to know how everything is set up, including humidity & temps. Everything is important so I can help.
Dumeril's boas are beautiful and great boas to have, but the feeding is a pain. I gave mine away a while ago because I didn't need her anymore since I'm mainly starting my collection up of pythons. I guess I'm starting fresh.
