    "Glow" question

So I know that females usually "glow before they go" but how long does this glow last? I recently acquired a rescue with an unknown background and she looks suspiciously like the pictures of the glowing female from the Markus Jayne site. I'll get pictures up sometime tonight.
    Thanks!

    Re: "Glow" question

So here are pictures of her as promised...this first one you can see her really light head..

This one she is next to my normal male but it is hard to tell the color difference because I can not find my camera and these were taken with my phone. But she is really light colored with no black on her, its all browns, light and dark...

also she has not been eating for me and weighs around 1360 grams....
lemme know what you think, i'll try to get better comparison pictures tomorrow.

    Re: "Glow" question

The 'glow' is when a snake's color brightens and lightens--from what it normally is. A snake that is normally light colored will become even brighter. Since you don't know what this snake's normal color is, you can't identify whether it is gravid based on its color.

    Re: "Glow" question

Thanks for replying everyone! But my question is how long does the glow last? Is it just one shed cycle? or a week?...
