    Re: The Morphs

I agree you will not make money back for some time unless you have about 100k to drop on alot of adult balls. Then you could get nice morphs and produce soon, but who can do that.

I have been breeding for 4 years now and expect to show a profit next season. I work full time and I am a low to middle class citizen. I have spent anywhere from 10-15 k a year building a collection and still end up about 5k in the hole each year. Next year I will have enough females raised up to produce a profit if everything goes well. This year I should get close.

This is not a fast turn around buisness. I love reptiles and I like to look at it as a hoby more then a business. One day I might be able to do it full time, but for now those are only dreams.

I will try to answer your question though. Co-dom/Dom morphs will bring you the fastest money, but their value drops faster then you can produce them. Ressisve genes take longer, but their value stays stronger. White snakes will always sell, but they are a dead end project. Double and triple morphs will bring you even more but cost more to produce. The more snakes you have the more it cost to keep them. So pick what you like, have fun breeding them and one day they might return the favor.
