I don't think I accept the innocence of the Japanese whaler, in light of the fact that they continued to hose down the boat with a high pressure hose after they hit it.
I'm torn on the whole issue--I tend agree that what Japan is doing is breaking International law. The individual whalers involved are just trying to make a buck, though. I think the solution has to be at the top in this case, not at the bottom. Getting in the way of the whaling boats isn't going to stop what Japan is doing.
But you've got to admit, the crew on Whale Wars act like the Keystone Cops many times. They are their own worst enemy many times. I don't know if this is done in the editing room or they really were who we thought they were.
