i have seen mine grab live prey in some very strange ways but always will keep coiling till they get them covered. a couple times they have let go and restruck its nature at its best noone defrost rats for them in the wildOriginally Posted by sho220
If that was a live rat I imagine he would have had a coil around it very quickly. I have a male spider who only eats live and he's had a few sloppy strikes but got them coiled before the rat had a chance to do anything...I think the lack of movement with f/t eaters makes them a little lazy...
