    thermostat question

    looking at getting new thermostat. Looking at the helix dbs 100 but should i get grounded or standard also is everything prewired and ready to use out of the box, also how many heat sources will it control

    If you are going to plug a plug strip in to it I would get the grounded one otherwise you will have to break the ground prong off the plug strip. If you are plugging flex watt straight in to the helix I wouldn't waste the money on the grounded one. I personally use herpstats though not helix.

    i have all grounded helix...just because... received another today.
    on one unit i have 6 cages attached thru a power strip (WITHOUT a surge protector).
    be sure to get the one that ma xes out at 105, not 100.
    they are "plug and play" ready out of the box.

    i ordered the helix grounded dbs 1000 a new temp gun and some other stuff should be good to go thanks for the help
