just because a morph varies in color doesn't mean its different. look at normals or pastels, they have a wider range of colors than the lesser/butter morph. their just different lines if anything.

i always hear butters have more of the gold/yellow coloring, but some lessers have it and some butter don't... id compare it to how some spiders are high white or low white. some butter/lessers are high gold/yellow.

as for BEL their the same thing, I've only seen lesserxlesser in person, i don't know how it gets more white than that, but pictures of butterxbutter they are the same way. from everything I've seen, stay away from mojave and your good as far as pure white goes

I think I will go with the lesser , they look bright to me then the butters.. and i like the blushing and flames more in the lessers.. the only thing is, how much should I expect to pay for a Lesser? I've seen females priced out at $600 is that the normal price? and thank you again for all you input, keep it coming

Re: Lesser Vs. Butter? for better BEL's

The variation you see between butters and lessers is too minimal...a lot of the differences you see are a result of other (normal) genes. I wouldn't care one way or the other. I've been thinking about getting a male BEL of some sort and I honestly don't think which one (lesser/butter) is going to matter.

I even thought about getting a Lesser/Butter x Mojave, so that I'd be able to make combos of both in the same clutches.
