    My set up

As I promised today in another thread, here is my set up.

All the plants are real, I plan to add one more peice of drift wood to fill up a tad bit more space but I am waiting on another paycheck. I also plan on getting a herpostat to more accurately control and monitor the temp but right now I am using a lamp dimmer, a digital thermometer with a probe and a temp gun. I will add some pics of my BP when I take him out in a bit.

I really like the way this came out good work!

I would just swap out those petco dial thermo and hygro for an accurite of some kind

I thought about setting up an actual tank for one of my snakes but kind of forgot about it, now I'm going to try to come up with something myself

When I was ready to jump on getting a snake I was going to get a Boa like my dad had and came up with the name, both because I like the song, the name was origonal, I can call him bo for short... and so on. Then I fell in love with a Ball Python but didnt want to figure out a new name. LOL So its a bit of an oxymoron of a name but I love the name, as dose my wife and kid so it stuck.

Thanks, yeah the dial thermos have to go, I was talked into them when I bought his tank before I found this forum. I have since got a digital thermometer and a temp gun that have helped me get the temp accurate. But I still need a better in tank temp/humid measuring tool. Accurite is top of my list on the 15th of this month.

Also may I suggest getting another snake cave. The half logs suck for balls because they are too open. You should always have two of the same hides, this way they won't trade security for comfortable temps!
