Housing BP, Corn and kingsnake together in racks?
I've been looking at a small rack system like Rhinoraxx 5 tub racks and was wondering if it was OK to house BP's, Kings and Corns in them (separately) but in the same rack.
I know BP's do great in racks but wasn't so sure about corns and then a with a King or two, I didn't know if that would throw a wrench in the works.

nope, cuz the whole rack is heated as one.

0.1. Worlds coolest Normal Ball Python (Boo)
0.1. Mojave Ball Python (Daisy)
1.0. Pastel Ball Python (Sol)
1.1. Het. for Axanthic Ball Python (Xan and Xab's)
1.1. Garden Phase, Amazon Tree Boa's (Jetta & Izzy)
0.1. Reverse Okeetee Corn Snake (Sarah)
0.0.1. Gopher Snake (Little Bite)
The Ghost did not pan out. shoot!
Hopefully by summer I'll be making payments on a 1.1 lesser

Yes, it's usually ok. Just make sure it doesn't get too hot for the corns and kings.

OK, so one yes and one probably. I do see the issue with the heat now though.
What are my choices then if I want to house them in a rack system?
Building one myself isn't an option as I cant even hammer a nail straight, but I can break stuff real well.
Right now I have two aquariums, one each for the BP and Corn, but would like to get a king or two but not enough room so I need to consolidate and I like the easy care the racks and tubs offer.

Maybe you can order a rack system with each level having it's own heating zone. That will mean having a thermostat for each level, but it can be done.

Not needed. The temperature requirements are usually pretty close, depending on what species of king you're talking about. I keep kings, corns, boas, and pythons all in the same rack. Keep the colubrids at the bottom of the rack where it's cooler and the balls at the top of the rack where it's warmer and you should do ok.

That's fine, you can do it that way, but I think having each level controlled by a thermostat is better for the all concerned. Sure heat does rise, but depending on outside factors, you could get too much heat on top or not enough heat on the bottom. For the sake of the snakes, I recommend each level have it's own heat and controller. But that's just my opinion, and we all know about opinions, don't we?
Either way, good luck!

PS Just a quick after thought. I didn't mean ever level needs its own heat and controller, but every level of a certain species. So, if you have 2 levels of colubrids, then one heat source and one controller for those 2 levels, etc. Sorry if I confused everyone, including myself.

Well, I went to the local reptile show today (Havre De Grace, MD) and took my two little girls. One begged me for a Mexican Rosy Boa and the other wanted a Banana California King. I liked a 5 tub, 32 qt rack that came with heat tape. So we all got something we wanted.
I guess a Herpstat Pro is in my near future.
