    Reputible Breeders?

Hi, I'm in the market for a ball python and I was wondering who some reputible breeders are? I've bought a snake off of KingSnake before but I suspect that it had the disease that wiped out my entire colony a few months ago, and am skeptical about buying from there again, so I decided I want just one BP (ahaha, yes, I'm hoping, just one.) It's been awhile and forgot a lot who the breeders are, I remember 8ball and NERD but that's all I can remember from when I shopped around before...Any suggestions? I'm not looking for babies, more so juvies and up and morphs, if that narrows down the list at all and I like sites that show the individual snakes not just we have this and this...

I know there are not any shows near me and I'm pretty sure the closest breeder that I know of is NERD which is nearly 2 hours away.

Can anyone provide me a few names of companies/site/individuals?

BHB Reptiles is a good option, as well as VPI.

Oh also Constrictors Unlimited. They do have sort of high prices for their Ball pythons, but the snakes do look great. Check the BOI about the three I listed.

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Ball+Pythons+breeders followed by a search on the BOI http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...splay.php?f=13 to check the breeder's reputation.

I would highly recommend Cold Blooded Addiction. There is a banner ad on this site.
    1.0 VPI Axanthic (Baron)
    0.1 Super Mojave BEL (Gaia)
    1.0 Het Vin Russo (Pumpkin)
    0.1 Normal (Raven)
    0.1 Pinstripe (Alice)

    Re: Reputible Breeders?

^^^ All great places. I might add RDR, but in my eyes, NERD, BHB, and VPI are the best places for BPs.

And as for shopping for individual snakes, these places have SO many snakes of all ages, genders, etc., there's really no way they can post individual photos and info on all of them (though they try). I've been in contact with people from NERD, BHB, and VPI, they are all extremely friendly and helpful. Shoot one of them an email saying that you'd like some juvie/adult BP morphs in the price range of so-and-so and that you'd like some pictures and prices. That is by far the easiest way.

Also, just a thought, you said there was a sort of epidemic that killed all of your snakes; have you had any of them autopsied? You may want to consider the cause of their deaths before buying a new snake.

    Good luck!

if you got a snake that wiped out your whole collection, I would be worried if enough time has past before getting more.

    Re: Reputible Breeders?

I bought my BP from LLL Reptile and Supply 7 years ago. I've never had one problem with him. Bought him as a baby for a reasonable price. Here's the link:

    Re: Reputible Breeders?

Also you might look at many of the great people that are smaller breeders on this very site. There are loads of people right here that I have done or will do business with..

    Stewart Reptiles (Deborah)
    Royal Morphs (Tim Johnson)
    Heather's Herps (LadyOhh)
    Prototype Pythons (Shaun)
    Exotics by Nature (Sean Bradley)
    Fireball Pythons (Trey)
Robins Nest Reptiles (Rabernet, Robin A.)
    Bailey Reptiles (Tim Bailey)

All of these are great people, top notch..

    Re: Reputible Breeders?

www.royalconstrictordesigns.com . Garrick DeMeyer , I have 2 BP"s of his now and he has all ages and individual pics. He gets back to emails quick and phone calls. Great guy and I highly reccommend him and I think his prices are reasonable too.. also I've bought a rack off of Jwexotics.com he has a few morphs left and individual photos, another great guy, he drove the rack to me personally from Chicago to Philly about 16 hours because the first rack UPS screwed up. Well hope I could help
