For breeding I use 32 QT tubs if put them in groups.

do you think i could do 2 females in a 16QT all the time and move a male in for a week then pull him out again or is that pushing it for that size?

Pushing it for sure.I would only keep one adult per 16QT tub.You can put a male and female in one just for a short time for breeding purposes.

yeah . i like the smaller tubs AKA the 16QT but you can only do one per tub and throw a male in the out for breeding.. 28QT you can keep how many females ? 3-4 im guessing?

Ya I guess you can put that many in a 28 Qt might be a little tight and belly heat is the best.

IMO 28qt for two full time adults MINIMUM... I keep my leos in 32qts though

i agree for housing adult together year round 28QT is a good minimum
