    My Ball pyhton enclosure (pics)

    Thanks to some very helpful info from the site i was able to get my Bp everything it needed, So far ive had 2 perfect feedings (minus a little substrate going in w/the mice) and hopefully a perfect shed on the way (noticed his eyes were blue two days ago)
    Here is a list of things i have :
    29 gal tank
    Zoo-med 500r thermostat
    Accurite digi thermometer & hygrometer
    flukers digi thermometer (for ambiet air at the top of tank)
    Zoo-med UTH
    2 Exo-Terra med cave hides
    Aspen Bedding
    Tree log
    Water dish
    Fake tree
    Tropical Aire humidifier w/60 gallon air pump
    2 Heat lamps (1 w/daytime bulb 1 w/red for night neither gets used anymore)
    Plexiglass cut to fit the top of tank

    Here a few pics (sorry he didnt feel photogenic today)

    what size pump are you using with the tropic? I get nadda outta mine and want to try a bigger pump

    im using a 60 gallon pump i was using a 40 gal at first and i was having the same problem but when i swtiched and got the plexiglass it took me to around fifty% but with the damp towel i get up to 80%.

    very nice set up didnt even know they made that pump for a tank.. is that what is on the back glass suctioned there?

    yeah thats it I was having a really bad time keeping my humidity right before I got it, im he has a good first shed now

    cool, i googled that and i see the pump but what is the thing your using thats suctioned to the back

    Looks pretty good! If you have any troubles getting him to feed you can fill in the empty space with fake plants for awhile to help him feel more secure. You also might want to put some crumpled newspaper in the hides, they look just a tad big. It's an easy fix until he's a bigger. They like to really squish themselves into their hides.

    EDIT, sorry I just read that you've fed him successfully twice. Don't use my advice unless he stops feeding. If it's not broke don't fix it.

    thats the tube that the humid air comes through.
