Hello, my name is Katie. I live 10 miles away from Indianapolis. I am 16 nd a sophomore in highschool (fun right?=)
I've always been interested in snakes. My sister got the first ball python in my family. His name is Alfie and he is 2 1/2 years old now. He is normal. I've been studying ball python genetics a long time while saving up money to get one.
I was originally going to get a bumblebee female and when she gets big enough breed her to my sisters snake, the one I was looking at was fairly cheap, but by the time I emailed them she was sold. So I was thinking for a while about what I should do. Then yesterday I saw an ad on kingsnake and today I bought the two I had my eyes on. One is a male blonde pastel, the other is a female spider. So I will have to wait a few years to breed them together. BUT my friend (and neighbor) has a 2 1/2 year old normal female that we are thinking about breeding to next breeding season, if the male is big enough. If not then we might just try my sisters normal to her normal.
But this is just the start of my collection and I am excited to get into this!!
