Hard to say, for all of the reasons stated above. Toby and Mona have been pairing up since September 1st, with at LEAST 7-8 confirmed locks - and nothing yet. 
I guess it's all about timing, just as with human reproduction. For example, it took my sister 2 years to get pregnant with her daughter... but when they decided to have another, my nephew was conceived on the first try.
