I work in a factory. This factory has a roof ... and that roof didn't hold well under a 4-foot pile of snow.

Here is what I saw this morning. I ask that you excuse the mess, a lot of stuff had to be moved to get it out of that area .. in not much time.

That shelf in the middle is holding up the roof from falling any further.


You can see the snow on the other side of the fall. See all the lines we had running along the roof? Those are air and water, gas, electric and networking lines. Yeah, that's fun.




Tarp that was hung to keep the cold air from reaching the rest of the factory, and I guess keep people out.


View from outside. It collapsed right by the tank of liquid O2. That was close.


View from the left of the other pictures, looking through what was once a pass-through, now I guess it is a door to outside.


The bowing and eventual collapse actually broke water lines and 3/4s of the factory was under some water.
