Wes(wilomn) has been keeping snakes for longer than many of you have been alive so instead of arguing lets stick to the facts. Puss in snakes is hard and not usually clear so I don't think that's it, scar tissue on the other hand is soft and squishy and could also be a possibility. I had Dr. Stahl(reptile expert) teach/show me this and although I have felt scar tissue from the exterior(soft and squishy) of a snake I have never seen it so that could be another possibility.
WCJ, I don't think at this point anyone doubts that he/she has sired clutches in the past. Please keep in mind I sent this thread to my ex-wife who is a vet (herp is her major course of study) and she said it is possible for the snake to be hermaphroditic and to be a viable sire). It is possible that you have one that is both. He/she may be able to do both, only breeding experiments will tell. But think, this is a very valuable snake if this is the case!!!
