Re: Axanthic? What do you think?

The thing is I'm not going to purchase and raise up multiple lines of axanthics, to waste a female on an unproven male

Re: Axanthic? What do you think?

It looks a little bit like a browned out SK axanthic I once was offered but I didn't take it. I preffer VPI or the new line of black axanthics. Oh boy, I would be stoked on getting my hands on a black axanthic!

    Good luck with your project!

IMO way to much yellow pigment coming through. just looks like a light normal.

no harm in trying to prove it out tho.

Thats what i figured. I have an extra normal female left over from my breeding plans so I may as well toss him in with her

Re: Axanthic? What do you think?

I do not work with axanthics so I dont know alot about them but when I look at it I see one of 3 things.

    Browned out AX
    Light normal
    Possibly het red?

Only way to know is breed it.

Re: Axanthic? What do you think?

    Could be a red axanthic?

The only thing that makes me hesitate is that the blushing has color that an axanthic wouldn't have.

Saw your above post before posting.
