Back when I used a loose substrate for a while.

That was the males third feeding with me and the females second. I had a hard time getting her started. She wants very small mice or weanlings which seem too small to me but at least she is eating now. They love it that i switched them to cypress mulch. Holds humidity and they can burrow. Its easier while they are small and its funny trying to find them in it
