To the forum. It's good you have the identical hides on order because BP's will often choose security over temps. As long as you have the right size UTH you shouldn't need to use the lamps much, unless the room temperature is cool. I used to have a 29 gal tank that I was having problems with. Here is a link to a thread where I posted some pics of how I corrected it. The only things that I eventually did that isn't shown is replace the dimmer with a thermostat and I ended up adding foam board to three of the sides to help insulate it better. Hope it helps...
